Operations Manager

Morgan King are delighted to be partnered with a market leading bespoke manufacturer based in Wakefield who are in the market for an Operations Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team. Managing a team of 30 you’ll be fully accountable for all manufacturing activities across the production facility.

Our client is a leading manufacturer in their sector, supplying an array of bespoke products to a highly regulated sector. They are currently entering an exciting period of growth and change. This is a brilliant opportunity for a forward thinking energetic manager to put their own stamp on to the department.

Operations Manager duties include:

-Managing the production facilities, whilst maintaining a safe working environment, promoting a safe culture and supporting the team with any safety concerns
-Managing budgets with full accountability for the Production and Warehouse
-Analyse production records and generate reports against key KPI’s with a emphasis on improving these Key Performance Indicators
-Driving improvements and development across the plant and leading by example in all areas of performance

We are keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate the following;

-Proven track record of delivering results with relevant management experience
-Experience in Modern Manufacturing techniques
-Strong communication skills: with the ability to get the best out of each staff member
-Experience working within a bespoke or High Value Low Volume Environment
