Morgan King are hiring for a Front of House & Events Assistant to join our team in Leeds!

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of Microsoft office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience in events management desirable but not required
  • Previous experience in digital marketing desirable but not required

Some of our previous team building activities have included a weeks festival, break to the lake district, cocktail making and charity walks.

As our Front of House and Events Assistant, you will play an integral in the positive representation of our brand, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to the Leeds office. You will also be responsible for supporting our Marketing Manager in organising both in-house and client events. Previous events have included inviting Motivational Speakers, International Women's Day, Christmas Parties etc.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting & Greeting Visitors
  • Booking hotels and transport
  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • Ensuring staff are adhering to building rules
  • Ensuring office areas are presentable at all times
  • Setting up and clearing down of meeting and events space
  • Liaising with suppliers including cleaning and maintenance companies
  • Assisting with the organisation and smooth running of company events
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies including stationery and consumables
  • Researching event companies and accessories
  • Researching cultural days and supporting the Marketing Manager in the social calendar
  • Outreach to event speakers, organising dates of events with the wider team
  • Ad-hoc social media posts
  • Contacting guests prior to events to confirm their attendance and dietary requirements
