Gas Engineer

Morgan King Construction - Mechanical & Electrical are currently recruiting for a client in the North West for a permanent candidate for both residential and commercial projects.

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas appliances in both residential and commercial properties, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair gas appliances, including boilers, cookers, and heaters.
• Conduct gas safety checks and inspections.
• Assemble and weld gas pipes using hand tools.
• Provide advice on energy efficiency and safety measures.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs.
• Perform general plumbing work as required.
• Handle heavy lifting tasks when necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven mechanical knowledge and experience with gas systems.
• Proficiency in using power tools.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Experience with heat pump installation.
• Commercial gas qualifications (desirable).
