Electrician

Morgan King Construction - Mechanical & Electrical are currently recruiting for a family-run renewable solutions company specialising in bespoke heating and solar solutions for both domestic and commercial projects.

Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project management, estimating and quoting.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components like transformers and circuit breakers.
• Diagnose and solve electrical problems using testing devices.
• Perform wiring, equipment, and fixture repairs or replacements.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams to deliver electrical solutions.
• Lead Solar PV installations and heat pump wiring projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience as a qualified Electrician.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Services).
• 18th Edition qualified.
• Experience with EICR inspections and rectifications.
• Qualified in Solar PV inverter and battery systems installation.
• Experience with air source heat pump wiring.
• EV charger installation qualification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of electrical experience (Solar installation experience preferred).
