We have an exciting new opportunity for an Asbestos Surveyor/ Analyst to work for a large-scale business that works nationwide. The role offers a salary of up to £30K, a company pension, and training opportunities which will promote self-growth. The position requirements include experience within the asbestos industry and a BOHS P402 qualification.

 

The role:

 

  • The completion of Asbestos Surveying duties, including reinspection surveys, reactive sampling and assessments
  • A knowledge of all current Asbestos, health, and safety and CDM regulations
  • Liaising closely with senior members of management and the general ability to work well within a team
  • Maintaining UKAS health and safety legislation and that all work follows the company quality and procedures manual (AQPM) and associated documentation
  • Training opportunities are available and encouraged
  • Ensure the technical compliance of all work is completed to a high standard
  • Ensure that reports are on time and to company standard
  • Undertaking auditing responsibilities
  • Elements of Air monitoring
  • Partaking in team meetings
  • The compilation of recommendations and review reports

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Experience within the asbestos field
  • BOHS P402 or equivalent
  • The BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos
  • Positive attitude
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Inspection Surveying
  • Cert Occ. Hyg. Or Dip Occ. Hyg. (Which must include an asbestos module)
  • Ability to use initiative with flexibility and responsiveness
